National Women`s Equality Day

On the 26th of August 1920, the proclamation was signed by the U.S. Secretary of State Bainbridge Colby. Thus, #WomensEqualityDay was declared.

Did you know? This year we will be celebrating the 100th celebration of #WomensEqualityDay!

 It is considered a major event in the history of women`s empowerment in the US. It is rather a tribute to every American woman who fought for their equality of rights to vote and endured all sorts of hardships to finally win the battle after almost a century of persistent movement.

Ever since the perception of the role of women in a society completely changed. Women started taking a more active role, especially in political life contributing to the empowerment of other women. Nowadays, we can see female ambassadors, female Politicians, female presidents. Thanks to #WomensEqualityDay, the right of women to vote is now secured by law.
